I don’t usually post my nerd stuff to shabbysgallery but I feel really proud of this build! I followed a guide I found online and built this shoe box gamecube controller so I can play Super Smash Bros Melee and Ultimate in a fun and ergonomic fashion. My hands are too big and my many years of gaming have given me chronic carpal tunnel so it really helps to use a controller like this to reduce the strain on my hands. It uses a Raspberry Pi Pico as the brains of the controller, with mechanical keyboard switches as the buttons. I ordered some acrylic sheets to build a nicer case than a shoe box but this is a fun temporary controller 😄
